Day 1: 07-02-2024

The opening day commenced with registration running from 8:00 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. Subsequently, the inauguration ceremony unfolded from 9:15 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., marked by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and a prayer song. Dr. S. Laksmanan, convener of ICNCS-2024, extended a warm welcome to the attendees. Dr. S. Mahalakshmi, Dean of the School of Advanced Sciences (SAS) at Vellore Institute of Technology, addressed the gathering, highlighting the significance of hosting an international conference backed by DST-SERB. Dr. Kalyani Desikan, a professor at Vellore Institute of Technology, provided insights into the dynamics of the conference. The felicitation address was given by Dr. P.C. Sabumon, Dean of Academic Research at Vellore Institute of Technology. Dr. Fathalla Ali Rihan, Professor at UAE University, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, while Dr. P. Kandaswamy, Professor (Rtd) at Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, and Dr. Maithili Sharan, Professor at the Centre for Atmospheric Sciences, IIT Delhi, graced the event as Guests of Honor. The Chief Guest and Guests of Honour were felicitated, signifying a momentous occasion. The Chief Guest and the Guests of Honour delivered the keynote address during the inaugural ceremony. The subsequent technical sessions began post-inauguration, exploring various facets of nonlinear systems, computational intelligence, and their applications. Additionally, the souvenir was unveiled during the inaugural function, with the release overseen by the ICNCS-2024 convenor, co-convenors, Dean of Academic Research, Dean of SAS, and the esteemed Chief Guest and Guests of Honor. The inaugural ceremony of this conference ended with the vote of thanks proposed by Dr. S. Dhanasekar, the Co-Convener of this conference.

On the first day of the conference, four(offline) and five(online) parallel paper presentation panels happened as Session 1 during 4.15pm – 5.45pm, and also 44 papers were presented both offline and online. All the paper presentation sessions were chaired by two Chair Persons one external and one internal as field experts to review the research papers in detail. The first day ended with this paper presentation sessions at 5.45 pm.
